Miniatures Complete, Eye Tutorial and Resource of Week

Hi Everybody,
Hope everyone is having a great day.
I just love this time of year, as the leaves begin to change. Plan on doing a fall piece soon, after I get done with my eye tutorial and a commission.
I finally finished all my miniatures for the upcoming show in November. Now I just have to get them all framed.
I will be posting update soon, when the show will be, and directions on how to get to the Walters Center soon.

COLOR PENCIL TUTORIAL
Now a sneak peek at what my eye tutorial will be about. Using strictly Prismacolor pencils and a few Derwent Coloursofts. Here is my reference photo of my daughter's eye.

The demo  is "How to Achieve Dramatic Eyes Using Color Pencil" So a plain eye with no makeup to a dramatic looking eye with makeup. I will post when completed and more info on it.

RESOURCE OF THE WEEK

In Memory, New Work and Resource of the Week

As all of us look back 10 years ago today, we remember a day of tragedy, as two planes crashed into the World Trade Center, and the news spread around that America was under attack. Watching this morning as they read off the names of those who perished (many who were risking their lives to save others), my eyes welled up with tears. My heart goes out to all of the families, as well as my thoughts and prayers.
I think about the terrorists who hate America so much, and can't help but feel pity for them for they do not know the truth, nor love,  only hate. In church this morning, our pastor couldn't have said it better, "I am proud to be an American" and we are so blessed to live in a free nation, where we have the right to choose what we believe in.
God Bless you all and God Bless America.

WHATS UP NEXT
I will be finishing up my last miniature tomorrow and then begin a color pencil eye tutorial for an online site. After that I will begin a commission of a unicorn.

NEW WORK
The 4th of my miniatures. "Fall Time Kittens"  The scan didn't quite pick up all the light colors in the background.

"Winged Wolf" Final piece from Ellen Mlllions Sketchfest. SOLD.
