New Work in Progresses, Updates & Resource of the Week

Hello Everyone!
So sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been so busy re-painting my kitchen, getting ready for Christmas and taking my daughter to appointments. I haven't had a lot of time lately to do any artwork. And I was so disappointed that I wasn't able to participate in the "Think Pink" contest this year, I just have not had any time to work on anything. Still no word on winner's list, but I did donate prizes to the stock image winners. So I will post here on the blog once the winners are announced. Here is a link to prizes and list of entries

I have Christmas cards and ornaments available at my Zazzle Store  !5% off items right now USE CODE: HOLIDAYSSALE

I have two new work in progresses to share.
The first is my Christmas card for this year. I promise to have this one done before Christmas. :) I am presently still working on the background.
The title is: "The Gift"
Medium is: Color Pencil
"The Gift"
The second work in progress is inspired by a prompt at Ellen Million's Sketchfest and from the movie "Santa Claus" starring Tim Allen. Which is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies.

Title: still working on it.
Medium: Graphite and Color Pencil.

Is a step by step tutorial "Dynamic Definition With Watercolor and Colored Pencil" by color pencil artist Karen Ann Klein

and I had to share some good news Prismacolor is bringing back deco yellow, deco pink and deco peach, along with 15 other new colors read all about here

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and wishing you all a blessed week!
